VL-S3
The VL-S3 is a compact 2-way powered desktop monitor pair with a 3-inch woofer and 0.5-inch tweeter, covering 80 Hz–22 kHz. It suits small desks and near-field listening; the VL-S3BT variant adds Bluetooth. Both models are discontinued.

The VL-S3 is a pair of small powered speakers built around a 3-inch woofer and a 0.5-inch tweeter in a bass reflex enclosure. The left speaker holds the power amplifier, which delivers 14W + 14W, and the right speaker is a passive unit linked by a speaker cable. The crossover is set at 8 kHz, above the vocal range.
The front panel offers a volume control, a power switch and a power LED. Sources connect through stereo RCA jacks or a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack, and the mini jack is the preferred input. The VL-S3BT adds Bluetooth 4.0 (Class 2) with the A2DP profile, SBC, AAC and aptX codecs, and SCMS-T content protection.
Power comes from a dedicated AC adapter (TASCAM PS-P1524E) that accepts 100–240 V. The speakers are RoHS certified. The package also includes a speaker cable and an RCA to 6.3 mm TS jack adapter cable. Both models are listed as discontinued.
