Sonos One (Gen 2) is a compact network speaker with two Class-D digital amplifiers, one tweeter and one midwoofer. Tuning is handled in the Sonos app, which offers bass, treble and loudness adjustment, and Trueplay, which measures the room's acoustics and adapts the sound (a supported iOS device is required).
The speaker is controlled by touch on the top surface, through the Sonos app, by voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, or from Apple devices over AirPlay 2. A far-field microphone array with beamforming and echo cancellation handles voice commands, and the microphones can be switched off from the touch controls. Two units can form a stereo pair, or one can be paired with the microphone-free One SL. It can also be combined with other Sonos products in a multi-room or home cinema setup.
Connection is over Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n, 2.4 or 5 GHz) or via a 10/100 Ethernet port. It is powered from the mains through an internal power supply and comes in matte black or white.
