The Mu7 is a closed over-ear Bluetooth headphone developed by KEF in collaboration with designer Ross Lovegrove. It combines Smart Active Noise Cancellation, which monitors the surroundings and reduces outside noise, with Clear Voice Capture (cVc) for calls.
Playback is controlled with swipes and taps on the ear cup, covering music and calls. Qualcomm aptX HD support allows high-resolution streaming up to 24bit/48kHz. Battery life reaches up to 40 hours with Bluetooth and ANC on, and a 15-minute fast charge gives about 8 hours of use.
Wireless connection uses Bluetooth 5.1 (Class 2, 10 m range) and works with both iOS and Android devices. A USB-C cable handles charging, and a 3.5mm audio cord allows wired listening. The headphones ship with a carrying case and a flight adapter. Available in Charcoal Grey and Silver Grey.
