The IRX108BT is a mains-powered portable speaker built around an 8-inch driver, with 200 W continuous and 1300 W peak power ratings. Its nominal coverage is 90° x 60° and the stated frequency response is 54 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB), with a peak output of 124 dB SPL. It has no internal battery and must be plugged in to work.
On the processing side it offers four selectable EQ presets for different applications, automatic feedback suppression from dbx, and music ducking designed by Soundcraft that lowers the music level when speech is detected. Bluetooth 5 lets a phone or other device stream music, soundtracks or backing tracks to the speaker.
Two mic/line combo inputs take microphones or line-level sources, and an XLR pass-thru output allows the signal to be sent on to another unit. A single-angle pole-mount socket lets it sit on a speaker stand. It weighs 7.9 kg.
