Beschreibung
The GE-7 is a stompbox graphic equalizer with seven sliders centred on frequencies chosen for guitar, from 100 Hz to 6.4 kHz. Each band can be raised or lowered by 15 dB. The six lower bands use peaking filters for focused adjustment, while the 6.4 kHz band uses a shelving filter for a smoother treble change. A level slider with the same ±15 dB range balances the volume against the bypassed signal, so the pedal can also act as a clean boost.
Typical uses include shaping pickup tone, reducing rumble, adding low-end warmth, lifting mids to stand out in a mix, and cutting frequencies that cause feedback on stage. Placed before overdrive or distortion pedals, it changes both their tonal curve and how different frequency ranges drive them. It can also serve as a compact preamp for acoustic-electric guitar.
The pedal has a 1/4-inch input and output, buffered bypass, and a CHECK indicator that doubles as a battery check. It runs on a 9 V battery, which is included, or on an optional PSA-series AC adaptor via the DC IN jack. The maker covers it with a five-year warranty.
