The SP2000T is a portable music player built around a triple amplifier system. The listener can choose OP AMP, TUBE AMP or HYBRID AMP mode. The tube stage uses a dual-triode KORG Nutube, and it works with the 3.5 mm, 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs. The tube is mounted in a separate module with silicone covers and magnetic separation to limit microphonics, and the shield cans are silver plated.
Decoding is handled by four ES9068AS DACs, two per channel, with native DSD up to DSD512 and PCM up to 384 kHz. Other features include MQA support, ReplayGain, AK File Drop for wireless file transfer, and an LED that shows either bit depth or the current amp mode. Storage is 256 GB built in plus one microSD slot. It comes in an aluminum body or a limited Copper Nickel body.
It connects over dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC and aptX HD. Bluetooth works in both transmit and receive (BT Sink) roles. Wired connections are a USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm unbalanced and optical outputs, and 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm balanced outputs. The player is Roon Ready.
