The WBH54 is a headworn microphone built around a subminiature electret condenser element. The supercardioid pattern is intended to give high gain before feedback and to reject ambient sound, and the frequency response is extended and tailored for speech and singing. The capsule copes with very high sound pressure levels.
The wire-frame headband is low-profile and fully adjustable, so the fit can be set for comfort and stability. Snap-fit foam windscreens are designed to stay in place during energetic movement. The design includes improved RF immunity against cellular and other RF devices.
The microphone is offered either with an in-line preamp or with a TA4F connector for use with wireless systems. It ships in a plastic carrying case together with spare windscreens, protective caps, a lapel clip, boom holders and a logo pad. Optional accessories listed alongside it include EQ caps, a windscreen, a tie clip, a boom holder and logo pad set, and an in-line preamp.
