MC3

The MC3 sits between an audio interface or mixer and the monitoring system. It selects between two pairs of powered monitors so a mix can be checked on speakers with different driver sizes and at different levels. A Mono switch allows checking compatibility with mono playback such as AM radio, and a Dim switch lowers the monitoring level.

The signal path is a passive straight-wire design intended to keep the audio transparent. A subwoofer output can be switched in and out, with a top-mounted level control for the sub, so mixes can be auditioned with and without added bass. A built-in headphone amplifier supports silent monitoring.
