Beschreibung
The R400 is the center channel model of the Reserve series. It pairs a 1-inch Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeter with two 6.5-inch turbine cone woofers. The tweeter's pointed shape is intended to spread high frequencies widely and enlarge the listening area. The woofer cones are designed to be stiffer without adding mass. Two rear X-Ports extend the low-frequency output of the woofers.
The speaker is Hi-Res Audio certified, with a stated overall response up to 50kHz, and it is IMAX Enhanced certified. It is described as compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content. The crossover point between tweeter and woofers is 2500, and the speaker suits amplifiers delivering 20 to 200W into 8, 6 or 4 ohm loads.
Connection is through a single set of nickel-plated 5-way binding posts. The cabinet stands on rubber pads and has no keyhole slots for wall mounting. It is listed in black and walnut finishes, and it is sold as a single unit.
