The C 510 is a digital-to-analogue converter combined with a preamplifier, built to sit between digital sources and an amplifier or powered speakers. It accepts USB and S/PDIF digital signals at sample rates from 32kHz to 192kHz and delivers an unbalanced analogue output at a 2V level.
The measured figures include total harmonic distortion plus noise of 0.0005% with an AES 17 filter, a signal-to-noise ratio below -123dB and channel separation better than -115dB. Frequency response is within ±0.5dB from 20Hz to 96kHz at a 192kHz sample rate.
