The DSL20 Combo is a two-channel valve guitar amplifier built around a Celestion Seventy 80 12-inch speaker. The Classic Gain and Ultra Gain channels each have their own gain and volume controls, and a channel select switch moves between them. A shared EQ section covers treble, middle, bass and presence, with a tone shift switch and digital reverb. Output power can be reduced from 20W to 10W with a switch, which helps at lower volumes.
The power stage uses two EL34 valves, and the preamp uses ECC83 valves, including one as the phase splitter. A single series effects loop is fitted. A standby function allows silent recording when the amp is connected to a recording device through the emulated line out.
The amp has three 1/4" speaker outputs for 16Ω or 8Ω loads, a 3.5mm emulated line output, a 1/4" instrument input, a 3.5mm aux input and a footswitch connection. A footswitch is supplied. The cabinet is black and weighs 16.3 kg.
