The JS Series Dinky JS11 is a right-handed HH electric guitar with a poplar body in a gloss finish. The bolt-on maple neck has a satin finish, a scarf joint, graphite reinforcement and a dual-action truss rod. The amaranth fingerboard has a flat 12" radius, 22 jumbo frets and white pearloid dot inlays, a combination suited to chording and to bending notes.

Two Jackson high-output humbuckers with ceramic magnets sit under black covers. A three-way blade switch selects bridge, bridge plus neck, or neck, and there is one volume and one tone control with dome-style knobs. Hardware is black throughout: a 2-point fulcrum tremolo with a standard arm, sealed die-cast tuning machines, standard strap buttons and a black plastic nut.

The guitar is a passive instrument and connects through a standard guitar cable to an amplifier. It is strung with nickel-plated steel strings (.009-.042) and comes with a truss rod wrench. The same model is also offered in Gloss Black, Metallic Blue and Snow White.
