Debut F6.2

The DF62 is the largest floorstanding model in ELAC's Debut 2.0 range. It is a three-way, bass-reflex design with a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter set in a waveguide, which extends response to 35,000 Hz and controls directivity. Bass and midrange come from three 6.5-inch woven aramid-fiber cones with oversized magnets and vented pole pieces.

The cabinet is CARB2-rated MDF with internal bracing to reduce vibration, finished in black ash vinyl. Three dual-flared ports are fitted. The speaker is described as easy to drive and suited to most AV receivers and amplifiers. Frequency response runs from 39 Hz to 35,000 Hz, with crossover points at 90 Hz and 2,200 Hz.

Connection is through 5-way metal binding posts. The speaker can be used as the base of a two-channel system or as part of a multi-channel setup, and can be paired with an app-enabled ELAC subwoofer for full-range playback.
