Evo S

The Evo S is a passive two-way bookshelf loudspeaker built to sit alongside the Evo all-in-one players, matching them in appearance and sound. Each cabinet houses a 25 mm (1") silk dome tweeter and a 165 mm (6.5") anodised aluminium cone mid/bass driver, with a single rear port. Rated sensitivity is 88 dB, impedance is 8 ohms, and the frequency response runs from 50 Hz to 40 kHz.

The speakers suit amplifiers delivering 25 to 200 watts per channel, so they can be paired with an Evo player or with other amplification of suitable power. A bass plug is supplied for adjusting how the port behaves, which can help when the speakers are placed close to a wall or in a bookshelf position.

Connection is by conventional speaker cable. A terminated 3 m cable is included for each speaker, and a magnetic grille attaches to the front baffle. The cabinet is finished in black and measures 200 x 284 x 216 mm, weighing 7.1 kg each. The product is listed as archived by the maker.
