PM1

The PM1 is a compact belt-pack that gives a musician personal control over an in-ear monitor feed. It needs no power source, so it works from the signal it receives alone. A built-in belt clip lets it sit on a waistband or belt, which keeps the level control within reach during a performance.

A detented volume control sets the listening level and holds its position. The input is an XLR connector that accepts standard microphone cables and has a locking mechanism; pressing the tab beside the bottom-mounted connector releases the cable. The input is not intended for balanced line signals taken straight from a mixer, because an amplified source is required. For a stereo source such as a headphone amplifier or a mixer's headphone output, a TRS-to-XLR (male to male) cable is the recommended connection.

The output is a top-mounted 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack for headphones, earbuds or custom-molded in-ear monitors. The chassis is made of impact-resistant metal for use on the road.
