MiCreator Studio combines a condenser microphone and a USB-C audio interface in a single metal housing. It records at up to 48 kHz/24-bit and works with any recording software on a computer or mobile device. A built-in headphone output allows real-time monitoring without latency, and the head can be swivelled to adjust the angle of the capsule.
A hardware gain switch offers 0 dB or 20 dB, and the cardioid capsule handles levels up to 130 dB SPL at low gain. An extra analog input lets the unit take a second sound source, an instrument via a cable, or a link to a companion microphone for stereo or multi-source setups. It is designed to work with the MiCreator Satellite, the Y-Lav lavalier microphone and the MiniBar stereo bar.
The interface connects over USB-C and is compliant with USB Audio Class 1.0 and 2.0. Analog connections are a TRRS 3.5 mm jack for in/out and a TRS 3.5 mm headphone jack. Free Steinberg Cubase LE and WaveLab Cast software are offered for music production and podcasting.
